We leave in just about 30 minutes for the airport to begin this crazy adventure!!!
It's been a wild (yet somehow peaceful - must be all your prayers - thank you!!) few days of packing, filling out forms, working on flights, making doc appointments for kate back in the US for when we return, working on health insurance, organizing baby sitters, labeling everything in the house (oops! i get a little carried away ; ), plumbers, comcast, etc, etc. But here we are, about to go! WOW!!! The girls will be staying here at the house with family and friends ... so we are praying that that would go smoothly! Eek! I don't like to leave the girls in the gym daycare so the thought of leaving them and heading overseas is completely crazy. Needing God's strength for this for sure!!!! But sweet little Kate only has THREE more nights in an orphanage... sweet baby. We're coming, little girl!!!
This morning feels bizarrely similar to the morning we went in for my induction with Molly. Really, it does! This whole process has paralleled pregnancy. So crazy! Except last night I slept on my belly, got a great night's sleep, and we have a few more bags packed! hehe.
Hopefully we'll be able to blog frequently. We won't actually arrive in our destination till Saturday night around midnight (which is Saturday afternoon central time - we will be 13 hours ahead). And we'll get little Kate on Sunday! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Thank you for your love and prayers. We love y'all and feel so blessed to have such precious family and friends. Kate will LOVE each of you too!!!
ahh!!!!! chills, smiles and teary eyes! SO Thrilled for all of you...esp Kate!! Can't wait to follow the next few weeks (and months and years!!) I'll be praying extra for your time away from Anne and Molly...that would be the hardest part for me too.
