Thank you for your texts, emails, calls, facebook messages... we are feeling you prayers and love so much! We're in Vancouver now and we're spending the night here. Tomorrow we fly to Beijing and then Nanchang - and we'll be in Nanchang around midnight Saturday night China time (so noonish central time ; ) So not sure when the next time we will blog will be!
James' brother John (not pictured) and Meme took us to the airport bright and early this morning. Thank you!!! Some of our friends Gabe Haroldson and Abel and Lacey Montgomery were on our flight from Huntsville to Dallas! That was a fun surprise. We circled up and prayed for each other before we parted ways. Then there's a pic of my phone that I took accidentally when trying to turn it off ; ) But it shows the time right before we headed out on our adventure! And I love the verse ; ) Billy, Paula, and Stella Claunch were all there at the airport too! Such fun! Paula is heading out this morning too but she came to the airport way early to see us off. Our flights were great! The Dallas International terminal was amazing. I think we both ate 5 pounds of food!!! Texas BBQ, smoothies, parfaits... it was all so yummy!!! See pics below ; ) Now we're in Vancouver and it's been great! My sister Kathleen picked us up at the airport (she drove here from Seattle! So nice!!!) And Vancouver is GORGEOUS! The top and bottom pics are from the two windows in our hotel room - each sort of out different sides. So pretty! And there's a picture of my sister and me. It's been a great day!!!
We called the girls on FaceTime and it was great to talk to them and the sweet sitter who is there - Lauren! We got a little teary because toward the end Molly just kept saying "Mama hold you" and coming at the computer... not sure if we should do that with her again! We'll see. Anne did great and she seems to understand what's happening. Sweet girls. They are doing great and (according to Anne ; ) having a BLAST!!! Hehe. Ok, we're heading to bed pretty soon. We keep trying to wrap our arms around the next few days and the time zones and such - and it's just crazy! Basically, we went further from China's time zone by coming west... even though we are closer to China. So crazy. So we'll have a 15 hour time change tomorrow/Saturday or something... crazy.
