Explanation of blog...

Hi friends and family!

We began the process of adoption in August of 2011. Since then as we have told each of you about this exciting journey, you have lovingly prayed and walked alongside us at every step! Thank you so much. It is a blessing to be surrounded by so many precious friends and family. Countless times many of you have asked if I had a blog to keep everyone posted about this. I've been super slow to start a blog for multiple reasons. Seems like one more thing to keep up with, etc. But all of a sudden this adoption process just kicked into HIGH gear. We got a call yesterday that we are eligible to be matched with a child this MONDAY NIGHT!!!! WOW! And once we match with a child, we would travel to get her about 6 months after that... so maybe this fall/winter. Of course, as you may know, the adoption process is VERY unpredictable and this may or may not actually happen. When/if it does, we may feel very certain one way or the other that the child we have been matched with is/isn't the child God has for us, etc. So maybe it isn't "all about to go down" ... but either way, I suddenly felt like I needed to tell all of you about this! We desperately need prayers that we would have clarity, wisdom, patience, and love! So please please pray if/when we come to mind.
